Description
The group—which includes a retired couple, a wealthy banker, and a young couple expecting their first child—turns out to be the most “impossible” group of hostages ever assembled. As the police surround the building, the hostages begin to open up to one another, revealing that they are all struggling with their own private anxieties.
The story is told through a non-linear narrative, blending police interrogations with the actual events of the hostage situation. It is ultimately a story about the “idiocy” of being human, the power of empathy, and how even the most broken people can find a way to save each other.
