Description
The story follows Evangeline Fox, a perpetual optimist who believes in “happily ever after” until she learns that the love of her life is about to marry her stepsister. Desperate to stop the wedding, she strikes a dangerous bargain with the charismatic but wicked Jacks. In exchange for his help, he asks for three kisses, to be given at the time and place of his choosing. Evangeline soon realizes that bargaining with an immortal Fate is a “poison-spiked” game, as Jacks has plans for her that could lead to either the greatest romance or the most exquisite tragedy.
