Description
The story focuses on Declan Kane, the eldest and most ruthless of the three brothers. To fulfill his grandfather’s inheritance clause and become the CEO of the family’s media empire, Declan must get married and produce an heir. After a series of failed interviews for a “contractual wife,” his long-suffering and brilliant assistant, Iris Elizabeth Kane, volunteers for the job. Their marriage is governed by a strict contract intended to keep things professional, but as they move in together and play the part of a happy couple, the “terms” of their arrangement begin to blur. Declan, who believed he was heartless, finds himself wanting to rewrite every condition if it means keeping Iris for real.
