Description
The story follows Nora Seed, a woman who feels her life has been a series of failures and regrets. After reaching a breaking point, she finds herself in a mystical library at the stroke of midnight. This library, managed by her childhood librarian Mrs. Elm, is a place between life and death. Each book on the shelves represents a different life Nora could have lived if she had made different choices—from becoming a world-renowned glaciologist or an Olympic swimmer to a rock star or a mother in a quiet country town. As Nora “borrows” these different lives, she must decide what truly makes a life worth living before the library collapses and her time runs out forever.
